Hi! I'm Pakulichev. I build web services, game modifications and servers. For many years I wrote code for GTA: San Andreas and SA:MP: Lua scripts for MoonLoader, networking libraries, my own multiplayer and tools for other developers. These days I mostly work on the web.
On the BLAST.HK forum, the largest Russian-speaking GTA: San Andreas modding community, people know me as Pakulichev. I was a moderator there, answered questions, and published source code and guides.
Main projects
SL:MP
Open-source Lua multiplayer for GTA: San Andreas – MoonLoader client, LuaJIT server, custom SL:NET UDP protocol.
Police Tools
A free helper for Advance RP police factions: key binder, RP actions, police database, ImGui interface.
ImGUI Editor
A visual Dear ImGui window editor: drag-and-drop layout and export of ready-to-use mimgui Lua code.
SNET
A Lua UDP library with delivery acknowledgement and packet priorities – the successor to the SL:MP networking code.
Speeder
A radar for SA:MP police: speed of the car ahead, the driver's nick and ID, distance. Command /speeder.
Simple Language
An interpreter with Russian commands on top of Lua and MoonLoader: .smp scripts for people who don't know English.
What I do
Mostly web development and system administration; I write my projects in Node.js.
Besides that, I sometimes enjoy making mods in Java and Lua.
In game modding I made:
- Lua scripts for GTA: SA on MoonLoader, mimgui interfaces, LuaJIT FFI;
- networking and servers: the SL:MP multiplayer, the SNET UDP library, LuaJIT servers;
- developer tools: the ImGUI Editor UI editor, a SA:MP web map and more.
Plus community work: moderating BLAST.HK and sponsoring The SA:MP Coder contest.
